ANNOUNCEMENTS: (on back)

Tonight:

7:30 p.m. Robert Taub in concert at St. Mary’s Church.  Tickets are free of charge and are required for admittance -- please pick up your ticket in the PCMI office.  Bus transportation will be provided, free of charge, and sign-up is required (see the PCMI Message Center in the Conference Center foyer for the sign-up sheet).  Please note that children under the age of 12 cannot be admitted to the concert.

Bus transportation for the concert tonight: the first buses will leave Prospector at 6:30 p.m. – from the front of the hotel lobby.  The buses will return and pick up a second and final group at 7:00.  The buses can only accommodate so many people, so if you are able to go at 6:30, that would be very helpful – the buses will not return for a third pick up after the 7:00 departure.  A similar system will be in place after the concert and reception – the first buses will leave the church at 9:30 and then will return for a second and final pickup at the church.   We appreciate your patience and hope you enjoy the concert!

Today’s Cross Program Activity: Robert Taub will give a pre-concert lecture at 3:15 p.m. in the Grand Theater.  Dr. Taub will offer an in-depth discussion about the works he will be performing tonight.

Are you leaving?  Please look on the bulletin board for your shuttle departure reservation and initial in the place indicated on the sheet.  Also, please fill out an exit survey and leave it in the designated box.  Thank you!

Exit surveys are now available on the table in the foyer. The exit survey is an important tool in our planning for next year – we very much appreciate your taking the time to complete the survey.  If you are leaving, please remember to take a survey, complete it, and return it to the designated box in the foyer.  Thank you!

Wednesday evening: Fermat’s Last Tango: In addition to the video presentation of the musical production, there will be a discussion with Arthur Jaffe and Karl Rubin.  The presentation will begin at 7:00 p.m., in the Grand Theater, and a reception will follow.  Details are on the bulletin board.

Breakfast is available in the PCMI tent from 7:00-8:30 a.m.  A variety of cereals, baked goods, yogurt, juices, coffee and tea will be served.  The tent will be heated on cold mornings, however sweaters or light jackets may still be needed.

Lunch will be in the PCMI tent from 12:00-1:15.  Although lunch is laid out in a buffet-style, we regret that funding concerns do not allow us to serve an “all-you-can-eat” meal.  Additional portions may be obtained after 1:00, when all participants have had the chance to go through the line once.

Please remember that your name badge serves as your meal pass and that badges will be checked every day at every meal.   Participants who do not have their name badges will be asked to go back to their rooms and get them.  We very much appreciate your cooperation with our efforts to maintain program expenses at a reasonable level.

Refreshments: Coffee and tea are available at all times in the foyer outside the Grand Theater.  Cookies will be served daily from 4:15-4:30 p.m. in the same location.

The PCMI Office is located on the third floor of building 4 at the Prospector Square Lodging and Conference Center.  The code for entry into the building is “*2436.”  Office hours are 8:00a.m.-12:00 noon and 12:45p.m.-5:00 p.m., Monday-Tuesday-Thursday-Friday; and 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. on Wednesdays.
